Pauls on Main in Rochester

During this pandemic you would think that restaurants would take extra precautions. While getting carry out at Paul's I noticed that the waitress was using her bare hands after handling money to put the bread in the plastic baggies that are on every table. The owner was watching her do it and had no problem with it. Also the chefs don't wear masks while cooking the food. Won't be getting food here again.

Great service inside, reasonable prices, and the food is outstanding. Place is very cleaned and well maintained inside. Highly recommend coming here.

Good food, alcohol available too. Just had breakfast, and that sausage had a really good flavor. I've had good food every time.

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this fine place. happy to tell that it was a wonderful evening and the place was indeed the reason for that successful evening. The team participated in a splendid style, the meals were very good and my guests were so joyful. We shall definitely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Love this place,lots of food items to chose from. Yummy food,great service,friendly staff. Clean restaurants and restrooms. Will go again. Liquor available. Stop by,you will be happy to do it.

My first time ever here. It was a great experience. I could not finish my gyro plate and tasty fries. The ambience and service was also amazing. The parking structure could also hold lot of cars and you didnt have to worry about parking on the road. Planning to bring the rest of my family soon.

Easy in and out. Plenty of parking. One of the best salads (Avacado with chunks of blue cheese, chopped cranberries and pecans. Delicious. Our waitress was very sweet.

Paul's is one of my family's all time favorite restaurants. It's the best local diner/coney in northern Rochester! I'm rather a diner connoisseur, and am extremely finicky about them. Paul's hits the mark in all respects. Great food, great staff and a great location. Five stars all around. Best dishes... omelettes and pancakes.

Paul's has a great selection on the menu and is reasonably priced. It is very popular though so service can get slow but it's worth it since the food is very good.

I came on a sunday around breakfast time and it was super busy... But i had 0 wait and i did not notice any other party waiting longer than 5 minutes! Very speedy service with delicious food. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite or looking to dine in somewhere nice. The building is vedy pretty with patio seating. Also parking on site

Such GOOD FOOD! The mushroom and feta omelet is yum. And my husband loved his blueberry crepes. Paul's his our favorite Sunday foodie destination. Great food. Family atmosphere. 5 stars!

Super delicious! Mr. Paul met us at the door. Quick, friendly service. I had a garden omelette (so big I took half home). My companions had very berry waffle, cinnamon french toast and breakfast hash. Everyone raved about their food.

Unimpressed. Decent food but overpriced. Burger was a frozen patty, and did not come with fries.Shrimp scampi was served with no pasta - maybe that's traditional or something, but I've never had a scampi without pasta before.Service was quick and polite, but definitely inexperienced.

Excellent food as usual! The stuffed Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast is AMAZING!!!! All the food is great!!!

Holy smokes! I'm upset I didn't try this place sooner!! Everything was awesome (except the coffee, I should suggest hitting a starbucks or something before hand). I got their stuffed French Toast and let me tell you, I can't remember the last time I actually finished a whole plate of food...But this was too good not to finish it!

Great for pancakes, omelettes and hash browns. Fairly crowded on weekends during brunch and lunch, so expect a waiting time. But it's worth the wait. Ample parking space.

OMG! First stop after being released from hospital. (A silly 7 day jog!) Paul's is perfection! "PAUL" made my husband and I feel SO welcome. Nothing like a surrogate Greek papa to make a middle aged man feel 10 times better! TY Paul's!! Food is always great! But it's the owner and staff that makes Paul's my favorite foodies stop! I'm Vegetarian, and had a WONDERFUL vege bowl, crafted with hash browns, delicious sunny-side up eggs...feta cheese, and more. Mostly?? The family ideal Paul instills on the aura of his restaurant! I'll be back with my hungry husband and life par6of 28 years!!

Terrible service. Absolutely awful. Food not too bad, but an older server rolled her eyes at my family when asked to bring another chair so we could all eat comfortably. First they put 7 of us into a small booth (7 adults). She didn’t even respond to us when we asked and turned around to start talking to another server. She then offered for us to eat at two separate tables, but we all wanted to eat together. Three other tables had chairs at the end of their booths so I don’t know what the issue was. I have never experienced someone so rude before. Will not be returning here again after that. Not all the servers were bad but still can’t believe that one lady did that to our family.

The best chicken omelette ever! Half chicken is really good too my 3 yr old son and I love to share this meal! There was a couple of times the half chicken was very dry tho.

I literally had a full moth in my salad. Do y'all not wash lettuce or what? It's not that hard to miss a full moth in a salad. Thanks for having a big bug in my food.

For our first time here, we had a very nice lunch time visit. Egli, our waitress was great. She was really friendly and took the time to tell us about the commercial coffee system that the restaurant used after I inquired about the brand. I had been hoping to make some at home! We ordered breakfast which was available all day. The Garden Skillet was delicious. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. My husband enjoyed his omelette as well. We would definitely come back.

The best Onion soup I've ever had, nice big burger sandwich and fries, beware.. it's a big meal that's worth your money.Nice place inside and nice comfortable seating outside, you can enjoy the weather like today.

Just tried this place for the first time after living in the area for nearly 10 years. I can't believe we hadn't been until now. The service was excellent. The food was great and they didn't have any troubles with our larger party of 20. Our party had a mix of breakfast and lunch plates and all of the serving sizes we're large enough to share. Anything from burgers to crepes, you won't be disappointed. The coffee was absolutely delicious as well. Very smooth, great flavor, and easy to drink black. We will have to visit again for dinner and drinks. There was also a full bar with some TVs for entertainment. We will definitely be going back soon!

Family owned diner with excellent food. I've been coming here several years and they have updated the restaurant over and over again. The food is delicious!

We had been coming here since it first opened. Excellent food! Very clean and updated! Family place warm and welcoming! The owner even gave us a free glass of champagne once appreciating our business! But something changed in the service recently and we stopped coming. It was a weekday afternoon and no customers waiting in line for a table. The waitress kept hawking our small table to hurry us out. We couldn’t finish our meal comfortably or enjoy our after meal tea without feeling rushed out the door! She actually stood in the corner with a cart and a busboy glaring at us to leave. They don’t like you to linger here. It’s become a high turnover money making managed place. Very sad.

Good breakfast, great service and always nice to see Paul walking around to refill your coffee and drinks, and appreciating all his customers. Love to support this local restaurant in downtown Rochester. Great options for breakfast. Priced well for the quality and portion size.

My wife and I like going to Paul's for either breakfast or dinner. The staff is friendly and the owner is always there. The food is good and there are always prompt with service. They even have a selection of beer and liquor!
